Diddeli-dum, baby hat

Yarn: Timeless Cotton 8/4 (Stoff & Stil), Curry and Natur, 50g/170m, one 50 g skein of each colour will be more than enough for two hats.

Needles: 3 mm

Comments: This hat is knitted top-down. You start knitting an i-cord with 6 stitches after which you make the increases. Make sure that you change colors with a method that ensures a more or less jogless colour switch. Heres a video from Craftsy that shows you how. The increases used are M1L, Make 1 Left (see video here).

Size: Apx. 1–3 months. The hat has a circumference of 31,5 cm and it is 21 cm long from the start of the increases to the cast-off.

Gauge: 10 cm: 24 stitches, 36 rows.

Instructions:

Cast on 6 stitches with Curry.
Knit 12 rows of i-cord with Curry.
Knit 4 rows Natur and 4 rows Curry. Repeat 3 times.
